The only chapters that are able to participate in Spring recruitment are those that are under total, which are not generally consideried to be “top houses”.
However, joining a sorority should be about making connections and feeling comfortable in the sisterhood, so you should at least check them out. If you don’t find something you like then no harm, no foul. If you do then you’ll know you made the right decision.
