dropping after being initiated and rerushing

by: ??

if you are initiated into a sorority can you drop and rerush next year? I don't love the one I'm in right now but I want to stick it out and try but I want to be able to have the possibility of rerushing bc I loved some houses but didn't end up getting them back

If you didn’t get certain houses back before you probably wouldn’t again. I’d say get initiated unless you actually hate your current house or have a significant problem with it because it’ll be a long and awkward process to drop, wait a full year, rush again, then explain to everyone around you why you chose to pledge and drop your original house. Keep in mind though that initiation is a sorority revealing their secrets and ritual to you so once you’re initiated into any NPC sorority that’s yours for life. None others can take you.

You could always spring rush but theres a chance that the house/houses you want might not be doing spring rush. But even though they dropped you during fall recruitment you could always rerush next fall and spend this year to better yourself and get a good word out there for your name. I got dropped by the house I'm in right now the first time I rushed so anything is possible!

Once you except a bid you have to wait 365 days to except a new bid. No one who was given a bid this fall and excepted it can rush again in the spring. Trust me it happens and Pan would stop you from rushing.

after you're initiated you CAN NOT re rush even if you drop. If you drop before you get initiated, you can re-rush next fall, but not in the spring.you signed a contract on bid day.
