Their sisterhood used to be very very strong, but after that membership review it definitely is not the same. A lot of the members who got kicked out were leaders within the chapter/friend groups/family lines.
They are being watched very closely by their headquarters which means not a lot of wiggle room with events, and very very strict disciplinary rules.
If you feel a connection, go with that! But also be aware that a bid from alpha gam is much different than a bid from every other house!

I’m sorry but this is very inaccurate. The sisterhood was bad and members were bullies so those women were removed. The sisterhood is super strong now because all of the negative mean individuals were removed. I have plenty of friends still in Alpha Gam and they are definitely so much better than they were last spring

She’s going to make it seem like a good house she’s not going to tell you they have problems.... recruitment is all a sales pitch trying to get girls to join and prove they are a good house. They need MEMBERS they arent going to get members by telling you that they have problems

There is a chance they may lose their charter. As somebody mentioned, they had a group of really mean girls in the chapter who were causing trouble in the chapter and with other chapters (talked really bad about ADPi in particular). A lot of it was probably insecurity, but the AGD chapter is still really new. With their really low numbers they could be gone soon.

WHY would anyone want this house to leave our campus?! This would mean bigger pledge classes, which means it will be even harder for girls to make genuine friendships with as many girls as they can within their chapter. They are not a threat to anyone, and they are AMAZING girls who have really stepped it up within the last year. Everyone was surprised by them last recruitment, and I am sure they are going to continue to build a stronger and stronger chapter. They would NOT have been given a house by Panhellenic, their Nationals, or ASU if anyone thought they were going to close up shop and leave ASU. Stop tearing down girls to make yourself feel better - and stop making girls feel bad about themselves for being in AGD or wanting to be in AGD. If you feel better about yourself for these posts, you are disgusting and need to evaluate if YOU should be in Greek Life.

Agd getting a house was way before they lost over 50 girls after the membership review!!! let me just say that gphi’s last year on campus was also the year that they had to bring in women to recruit… and we all saw how that worked out!!! PNMs just think, even though their HQ probably kicked out girls who didn’t need to be in the chapter, what about the 20ish girls who dropped after the review… if they didn’t wanna stay in the chapter anymore why would you?

If you remember recruitment from 2014, that makes you a 5th year senior, a creeper alumni that cares too much, or a straight up liar. I'm gonna go with the last option. Do less and focus on your own house, your desperation is showing ✌🏻

Well clearly they are catty and mean so can’t be as amazing as you think they are. They wouldn’t have to bring in girls from another school if they were so confident about how they were going to do in recruitment. Also GLV was established way before the membership review.

PNMs.. many of the comments on here were created by desparate girls in other houses that are nervous about how well AGD is doing after a membership review. Yes, nationals kicked out some catty girls. that is a good thing. Many other houses expected agd to go away after that, and dont know how to handle the fact that AGD is actually doing really well. They dont know what to do with the emotions they are feeling, so they become unnecessarily mean behind the veil of anonymity. When you're going through recruiment, think to yourself: "do I want to be in a house with catty, mean girls?" If you do, more power to you! There are plenty of houses like that here, evidenced by the comments on this post. You will find your home, and you probably wouldn't fit in with AGD anyways. But if you want a sisterhood where you know who your sisters really are and can trust that they will always have your back, then AGD is definitely a good option. because they seem to really value the connection between sisters more than your typical ASU chapter.
