going out before rushing

Since rushing (specifically sororities) isn’t for a few weeks until after move in, is it true you can’t go out/party until then? I understand not wanting to risk getting sloppy in front of possible girls that would be rushing us but do we have to just sit in our dorm rooms the first weekend or two...? And for gameday, should we go/not go? Drink/not drink?

honestly youre fine. dry period doesnt begin until 48 hours before round 1. just don't be a drunk, sloppy girl and control yourself. also dont mention going through recruitment if you happen to meet anyone and youll be fine.
