going to parties before bus day???

I am an incoming freshman and I was just wondering how sororities view seeing a freshman who is rushing at a party before bed. I have heard at other schools that you really cannot go to parties during rush but I wasn’t sure here. Of course if I were to go to a party I would not plan on openly chugging a bottle or getting extremely drunk to where people would see and remember me, but I know that at some places even just going to a party is a big no no.

Honestly just don’t do it. Just wait till bid day. However if you are going to go out just don’t mention you are going through recruitment. If someone asks just say “I’m thinking about it”. Just in case you end up doing something dumb / get too drunk. Good luck <3
