greek village

by: Deez nutz

Hey I’m gonna be attending and rushing in the fall and was wondering what type of vibe the Greek village is kinda giving off. Like is it gonna be as big and as involved as a row or smaller and less fun? Also is there a way of telling what fraternities are getting a space in the village?

It's gonna be big but not a place where parties happen, but any fraternity not in the village will likely become irrelevant cause it will be where alot of socializing between Greek life happens. Just ask when you are rushing and they will tell you.

No parties, but a lot will be going on there. I wouldn't even think of joining a house not in there. In a year or two it's basically going to be:

Top Houses in the GLV
Mid Houses in the GLV
Bottom Houses in the GLV
Everyone not in GLV

None of the fraternities wanted to live in the Greek village as result asu made it mandatory for a certain amount of actives to live there. The truth is that they just want to control greek life therefore nothing cool will be happening in the greek village. I would rush a fraternity with a lot of dope houses and very little kids stuck in the greek village or even better broaden your horizons and rush OFC.
