how can i make friends without rushing as a sophomore

I’m a transfer from u of a I’m going to be a sophomore and I’m a girl. I’m not into rushing and I’m not super super outgoing but I want a couple close friends at asu! Any tips on making friends or apps that everyone uses to talk? I’m living at university house in the fall I heard that it’s a social place !

Join different school clubs and go to parties. Also go to pools like district and the rise on weekends and meet people
