how hard is it for guys to get into a frat coming in as a freshman?

I’m a freshman here rn and was thinking the same thing. Is there a reason why a lot of top frats have sophomore pledges? I was talking to someone who pledged KS in the fall and he said one of his pledge brothers was a junior too which seems weird...

Age doesnt matter too much. we generally take freshman and sophmores but if your a junior and you'll bring something to the table and you have other good qualities you'd be fine
