No i know im debating dropping recruitment because I don't want to be like that. Im torn between staying at my school or transferring to asu. I was just wondering how it worked. But trust me im very confused right now and don't know if i should leave my school or not because if i do want to leave i need to drop recruitment. I would hate to treat alpha phi at my school like that

Based on your post and responses you seem like a very nice person, and likely would not fit into Aphi at ASU. Despite the fact that they self rank on here all the time, they are not known for being very nice to put it nicely. If you go thru recruitment here you will see what I mean. There are a lot of great houses at ASU to choose from. Hope you decide to make the switch!

Alpha phi definitely is not the be all and end all for me, there are other houses at asu im interested in, but i guess i will never know until i go through recruitment. I am probably going to drop alpha phis recruitment at my current school just because i probably will transfer and want to have options at my new school. Thats the reason i asked about the legacy thing even though i already knew legacies are never guaranteed bids, i just wanted to know how much it helps. I also don't want people to think i was just going through aphi's recruitment at my school just so i could be in aphi at my new school. Alpha phi is great at my current school and i get good vibes from them, but i guess its not like that everywhere
