rushing summer vs. fall

Coming here in the fall, what's the difference between rushing in the summer vs. fall a fraternity? Can someone explain? thanks

There's no rush in the summer because nobody is here.

Spring Rush takes less members, but upperclassmen normally have a better shot of getting into a better house because it's less competitive. Fall Rush takes huge classes, it's more competitive, but it's a lot more fun.

If you don't know any guys, go through fall rush because you'll meet all the houses and be able to make a more educated decision.
