I'm not in dke but from what i see is that: DKE is not throwing parties at much because they are all older 21+. They spend chapter money on Vegas, traveling and exclusive brotherhood events. There all best friends and would rather hangout with each other. I guess they have been at the top so long they switched their focus to the improvement and future of the brothers themselves instead of a bunch of people that don't matter to them.

The older dudes are sick but they still have a bunch of young guys. I think they are taking it easy this semester because they are trying to come back on Campus next semester
