recruitment

I dropped Sorority recruitment today after getting back not one house I liked. I'm too old to re-rush in the spring and it's way too late to rush again next fall. Is there any way I could possibly get a snap bid around bidday or do a coffee chat sometime throughout the semester to still possibly get a bid?

That is most likely not going to happen. I'm sorry to break it to you, also if any sororities do snap bid I'm guessing they're not going to be the houses you want. So beggars can't be choosers

honestly, you probably didn't make it far enough along to get a snap bid (from the houses that dropped you at least), and COB (the coffee chat you mentioned) only happens when sororities don't make quota, and typically happens with spring recruitment.

Are you a sophomore or a junior? I know there are houses that'll take spring semester sophomores, and if you're a junior you could be a founding member of AOPi which could be an amazing experience

Recruitment can be so discouraging but don't let it get to you. I think it would be awesome to be a founding member of a chapter. You should consider it.

AOII is recruiting as well, you might want to take a look at them. Being a colonization member is a different experience and you have a chance to form the character of a new chapter on campus.

If a sorority dropped you, why do you rhink they would all of a sudden like you after bid day?
