sorority bids
by: .So like there are 1400 girls rushing, what would be an average amount of bids a sorority might give out? Does it just depend on the sorority and how many seniors left? Are there like quotas?

12 houses each takes an average of 75 girls... about 900 girls will get bids. A lot don't show up, or drop out of recruitment. Basically every girl who rushes will get a bid it is very very very rare that someone doesn't. Just don't be a standards risk or suicide rush and you will get a bid to at least one house.

Everyone who takes recruitment seriously and makes it through to pref without being rude will get a bid. At the end of pref the number of pnms left is divided by the number of house and that is how many each sorority can give bids to. Actual pc's will be slightly less because some girls will get a bid from both but can only accept one.

girls don't get bids from multiple houses - if the house they rank first after pref liked them, that's their bid. if they didn't make that one, it goes to the next.
