do looks matter?

by: Transfer Student

I am a transfer student from a northern campus and was a DG there. I will be at ASU next semester and was kinda wondering about your Greek Community and if I should try and "be accepted" into the DG chapter there.

At my old school, grades and your resume, plus your social skills were they most important thing to ALL chapters. From the comments on this website I sense differently about ASU? What makes you a top chapter here or a top PNM?

What school are you from? NAU??? And if you're already a DG you can't be a pnm, like pls reiterate yourself.

And apparently you're not Greek. Obviously, I cannot be a PNM, I am already an active in a sorority- but I go to Minnesota and am transferring to ASU for a special program. I was hoping to become an active in the DG chapter at ASU because I liked Greek life; however, I know ASU is a really different school from Minnesota so I was wondering if their Greek life is that way. I was reading on this website and it seems party heavy and image obsessed and I just want to know if that is true?

DG is a great chapter and they're really focused on sisterhood and philanthropy. They underwent a membership review a couple years back and renoved all the girls who they thought didn't fit. You should try it out!

The stuff on this site really focuses on looks but greek life as a whole doesn't. This site is superficial and biased, you should try DG out and see how you like it! If you don't think you fit in you can always drop :)
