Your group number is based on when you register.

How many girls are in each rush group usually

Depends on how many girls sign up. They are large at the start but then PNM's drop out of the process. For round one you stay with your group but after that you are just with them to get invites. You won't spend a bunch of time with the girls unless you are invited to the same parties.
