parties during recruitment?

I heard that you're not allowed to go to parties on the weekends during recruitment?? Is that true? Like if recruitment starts on the 26th, can I not go out on that Thursday either? How does it work

False info above. You are not allowed to go out during recruitment. It starts the night before this first round and lasts until bid day. If you go out and people see you you will be blacklisted. 2 weekends of staying in is better than not being in Greek life at all

No, you are not supposed to go out. You have the rest of the year. Can you really not skip two weeks?

It's my friends birthday the 1st week of rush! But we will just stay in, I agree that I'd rather go for greek life than party, but that's why I was curious. Thank you :)

Do something cute and fun together. You don't need to go party to have fun with a friend. Celebrate their birthday after rush if you want to

One of my sisters 21st was during recruitment last year. It sucks but it'll all be worth it in the end!

Honestly it is hard to find a party during recruitment because frats don't really have parties because they know sorority women can't go out. It is mostly geed parties.

Just know a lot of the top sororities have sweethearts from top frats!! Sweethearts know everything!

frats still throw parties. There are like 30,000 women at this school who aren't in greek life,plenty of dudes have female friends who are gdis. plus all the freshmen girls who arent rushing. just fyi
