by: QuestionWhat exactly is the process of rushing? What do we do each day? How much of it is girls picking their fav sororities vs the actual sororities picking the girls?

I'm telling you all this and you can get way more detail from your rho Gam but basically, the rounds usually are: first round, philanthropy, sisterhood, and preference. These are spread out over two consecutive weekends. First round is basically introductions, you have to make yourself as appealing as possible in very little time. After this round there are usually the biggest cuts. Philanthropy is about the specific soroities philanthropic endeavors, a little longer than first round. Then comes sisterhood, which is talking about the soroities relations with each other, longer than philanthropy. Then comes preference, which is secret for every sorority and you only know what goes on in there if you're in the room. Usually there are lots of tears, and it had a much more laid back vibe. The longest out of all the rounds. When it comes to who's picking who, the soroities have the most power. You can preference the order of what sorority you want, but you cannot make a sorority keep you if they cut you. They hold the power, so work your hardest and be your genuine self. We can see through it when your not, and why anyone would want to be in a house where they have to create a whole new personality to fit in is beyond me.

Lol yeah they tell you it's 'mutual selection' so you feel like you have some sort of power when you actually have none.
