sorority rushing

by: curious

I know this might be a basic question, but what kind of questions will girls really be asked by the sororities during rush? And how much do the sororities already know about each girl before meeting & talking with them?

The girl at the door won't know anything about you however on file we have everything and we consider everything while deciding who to bid.
During round one I usually ask about where they are from and what year they are and what major they are.
During philo I usually ask about past community service and future community service you want to do.
During sisterhood I ask about old sports teams and friends and family members

You know that form you fill out for pan? We get that. It has stuff like GPA, high school (or college), major, hometown, age, year, community service, leadership, hobbies, & sports. Just to name a few.

also, you better believe that you have been stalked on all your social media. this will also give them information of what type person you are - ie partier, family oriented, activities, friends...

Any good recruitment question requires a pnm to answer using non-yes-or-no phrases. Tasteful follow-up questions and statements by a rusher can bring-out further information from the rushee.

Any sorority woman resorting to the standard "What's your major?" question during rush runs the risk of stifling her rushee into feeling she is in the 1990's movie 'Groundhog Day' because EVERY house asks that question. Be imaginative! Set a better engagement standard!
