what determines a top house
by: Incoming freshmanFrom what I observed most of the posts here are somewhat biased and subjective. So far I see that the most relevant houses are Kappa Sig, Delta Sig, Pike, Pi Kapp, DKE, Sigma Tau, Sigma Pi, FIJI, KA Order, Lambda Chi Alpha and TKE(Not in order). I heard ASU actually doesn't have a Greek housing culture so I'd like to know how do I determine which frats are actually top houses

That last comment is exactly right. Eventually you will get tired of the constant partying, everyone does. At the end of the day if you are only partying or having attractive guys you won't find yourself very involved after that

That is precisly why Lambda Chi is always mentioned as one of the top tier fraternities. I would say Lambda Chi is the only fraternity with hot guys, smart (top GPA) and the biggest philanthropy Watermellon Bust). Many fraternities have one of these traits but only Lambda Chi has all ,thats why they are have been and will always be the #1 fraternity at ASU until they fall in any of those traits.

What? Those things matter to lambda, kappa sig, pi kapp, delta sig, sig tau, fiji, and sig pi. Everyone parties, but a solid house has philanthropies, campus involvement, decent gpa, intramurals, good socials, a travel formal, spring break trips, guys who are sweethearts to sororities, work/go to mill, and have connections for internships and what not.
