Is their a lot of rules when joining a chapter? I'm trying to be free and have the best 4 years of my life and not be conformed into anything i don't want to. Is this what i should expect?

No. expect control. each chapter is kinda different but most control how you dress, look, post online, boys you hangout with, & some other things.

Well not wanting to be 'conformed' I don't think Greek life is for you. Most houses constantly keep an eye on their members. I mean, they appoint a standards board for a reason, to make sure you're being held to their standards..
