Is there a new sorority coming this year? Is it supposed to be good or worth rushing?

The way it works is AFTER formal recruitment, they have like coffee dates or lunch dates with women interested in AOPi to become founding members of their alpha class. Not everyone gets a bid and they should be selective to not repeat what KD did. It's worth rushing if you want to leadership positions, create new traditions, and so on. But it is a lot of work and you won't be considered a top house or even a middle house. But still cool.

Remember not to accept a bid from any house you wouldn't want to be in bc then you can't rush.

So would you recommend not accepting the bid and rushing again sophomore year?

Basically you get down to pref. If you would 100% not be happy accepting A bid from one of the houses, don't put them in your selections. You'll get a call from your Rho gam that you didn't get a bid from the other if anything, but then you can spring rush, try AOPI, do COB if any sorority does it, or wait until your sophomore year to rush again.

Yes, there is one new sorority coming to ASU during the 2017-18 school year, Alpha Omicron Pi. All 26 NPC sororities are good, and all are worth rushing. NPC began in 1902, and all of its current sororities have been part of NPC since 1951 or before.

KD didn't have one when they first came. Someone will probably move out. It probably will be ADPi, DZ, or KD if they don't recruit a strong fall pledge class.

Nahhhh not only will it be done in a year (or 2 knowing ASU) but it is also super expensive. I'm guessing 1/3 will stay in Adelphi. They aren't very nice
