If I had a 2.8 gpa in high school will I be able to get into a sorority? Top sorority?

I did really bad in high school because I was going through a lot and I had a 2.5 gpa. I rushed my freshman year and I lied about my gpa and I still got in a top sorority which I ended up dropping. Although, it is rare there is a chance you can get away with lying.

This is a lie. Lying absolutely does not work. Take it from a girl in a sorority currently WE CHECK WITH YOUR TRANSCRIPTS FROM ASU when registering for recruitment you literally have to give us permission to go through your records

I rushed with a 2.6 and got dropped from every house except for two bottom tier ones and one that i had a recommendation for. I ended up in the house i had a rec for and it's very middle tear. I wish I would have waited.
