tips for rushing/recruitment (sorority)

alright, so besides the obvious one 'be yourself', it'd be great to know legitimate advice for rush week. i.e., what not to say, what to say, how to present yourself, etc.

i wanna know the nitty-gritty stuff, not just the atypical advice thats always given

Don't skip any houses!!! I don't care if you would rather be anywhere else you will be made to repeat the house you skipped. Also, don't be rude in any house. Girls all have friends in different sororities and if you're known as a brat in one house it will definitely affect you in others

Also, do not go out to parties and tell frat guys all about how much you hated one house, or a certain girl, or how you're already pretty much an XYZ and blabla is totally going to be your big. These guys have known girls in all of those houses for much likely a lot longer than you and will tell their friends in that house, or their girlfriend in that house

Talk about yourself, the girls in the houses should be asking you the questions. We wanna learn about you. Get personal too if you're comfortable. I know I'll get tired of talking about our philanthropy or events we have when i wanna hear more about you
