sororities on probation?

I wouldn't but only because my house is on probation. You could ask your Rho Gammas if you don't want to ask a girl in the house.

Girls in that house won't be offended but there's a good chance if they are they won't admit it/ straight up lie to you. "Oh well we can't really talk about that right now but do you want to know more about our philo???" Your rho gams have given up their affiliation and will tell you the truth. Don't get stuck in a house you're paying hundreds of dollars for and can only go to chapter. (Cough cough dz)

They may not be able to do duke out. They weren't in trouble during duke out last year. Sororities on probation can't have socials or formals or date parties usually but if they do something REALLY bad chapter and chapter events can get cancelled like philos and sisterhoods. It just depends on what the chapter did.

I joined a house on probation (fall 16) knowing that they were on probation simply because they were the most chill, fun, and I could see myself in that house. Now we're off probation :') being able to have a social/formal doesn't match up to having such great exposure to friends lol

DZ is on probation and cannot have socials/formats for AT LEAST a semester. You will do nothing the first semester but go to chapter while other sororities are having fun.

something else to consider is that when KD went on probation last year, they- along with their entire team- were kicked out of participating in anything related to homecoming. I'm sure it goes on a case-by-case basis, but sororities on probation USUALLY can't have socials/ philos/ anything to do with ASU greek life.
