by:

my brother went to ASU in the late 00s and has told me stories about his days on alpha dr and mentioned the frats that were good then that he had friends in: sig chi, theta chi, sig ep, sig pi, sig nu, kappa sig, aepi, dsig. like 7 years later do any frats party like those guys did?

None of the current fraternities party like the 10+ years ago. The parties at the houses on Alpha Dr were way better. It was a different way and mentality then.

I meant like throw parties with hundreds of people, have more girls than guys at the parties, basically unlimited alc, etc. Not interested in 40 people crammed in a apartment or small house and playing beer pong. Even if the girls are 10/10s, so what that's lame

Can honestly say that none of the houses you listed party like that. Sig Chi and Theta Chi don't really exist. Sig Ep, Kappa Sig, and Delta Sig sometimes have large parties but that is rare and don't really have the ratio you are talking about. Sig Pi, Sig Nu, and AEPi are all very new but have been throwing pretty good parties for brand new frats.

for an example of what I'm asking about, it might seem cliche but the I'm shmacked video for asu: you tube dot com / watch?v=gUTvgdb7OTk is the kind of sh&t i'm looking for. I realize this is mostly sig chi from 2012 with a little bit of other frats (dke, for example) thrown in. I see now only FIJI and KA have complexes, and I know KA isn't that good from what I hear. So maybe fiji can come close to this since they have a "plex
? I don't see how you can possibly have a rager in a 4 bedroom home.

All frats have certain parties they do every semester that are themed and bigger than the rest. As far as the average weekend goes even DKE parties are just 50+ people shoved in a house with alcohol everywhere (no1 plays beer pong Though lol). ASU isn't what is used to be but if you want the closest you can get to DKE or Kappa Sig.

ok thanks for the comment about dke and kappa sig. What about FIJI (and i guess to a lesser extent KA). Does them having a plex mean that there average parties are way bigger? I would think having a place with way more space where a ton of brothers actually live would mean so. Also, idgaf if the girls are gdis or sorority girls.

Don't listen to whoever is saying that there are more guys than girls at all parties. They are probably going to dtd or zbt. If you go to Kappa Sig, DKE, Pike parties, and ocasionally delta sig you'll see that the ratios are like 3 or 4 girls to 1 guy, and that they are still very hype.

I actually usually go to Kappa Sig and Delta Sig. You probably aren't even in a sorority

They definitely aren't but claiming to be an sorority on here makes whatever you say 10x more believable so i can see why they do it.

School is 15 hours a week. Hw/studying is probably 15-30 hours a week tops. that's 30-45 hours a week taken up by school. You're awake like 100 hours a week and I don't have to work so I think there is plenty of time for partying. That's how my brother explained it anyway. Makes sense.
