what are off-campus fraternities not allowed to do
by: futurefratstarcan someone make a list of the stuff off-campus fraternities are allowed and not allowed to do? I'm trying to decide if the stuff I'll miss out on for being off-campus is worth it.

Off campus fraternities have no affiliation with ASU. ZERO affiliation with ASU, could just as easily join the Elks Club, Mooses Lodge, Match.com if you want to join a social network with ABSOLUTELY ZERO affiliation with ASU. If you want to join a paid membership club I would recommend Costco they have some great deals there and it only costs $55.00 a year. You will get a lot more Benifits from Costco than joining any of the off campus fraternities.

Every on campus frat is going to try to brainwash u. Lambda Chi, you should probably do something better with your time than post on here every living second.
Here's the honest lowdown:
We are unable to host philo's on campus, but we still have them.
PARTY, and hard. Ask any top sorority girl where they'll be on the weekends, you'll find them at DKE and Sigma Chi.
Every on campus fraternity wants to join off campus, but their nationals won't let them. Everything you see on this website is comple BS.

Only things they can't do are things ASU has a say in. So that would be, play in the IFC specific intramural sports (they can play in the regular ASU intramural sports leagues). They can't have a booth at IFC walk around at the MU during rush week. Basically things like that. The school can't tell them not to throw a party or hold a philanthropy, because obviously people not in fraternities can do that. So yea, just things that only IFC events are allowed in. That's not really anything worth while.

Let me make this plain and simple. Off campus fraternities have NO affiliation with ASU ZERO!. They are similar to the Kiwanis Club, Mooses Lodge, Elks Club where they are a social organization which has NO TIES to ASU!. They don't even need to recruit ASU students theoretically they can have high school students, Jr College students or someone that does not even attend school like your local mechanic or fast food worker, the off campus fraternities just care about getting bodies and their dues
