Lambda Chi Alpha the consensus #1 fraternity for years definitely is most selective they turn away over 75% of rushees to join inferior houses. If you have not been called "hot" all your life, been randomly stopped asking if you have an agent, if you are not in the top 1% of the following looks, family wealth, IQ, athleticism, personality you may have a hard time getting a bid at Lambda Chi Alpha.

Agree Lambda Chi is EVERY rushees #1 choice unfortunately only about 10% are anointed.

Lol you could accidentally wander onto PIKE without even being someone looking to rush and get a bid card.

Not really souse I never had to rush any of those three but from my best guess, Sig Pi is easy, Pike is fairly easy just to sports lol, and Delta Chi is probs the hardest of the three but I'd still say not that hard.
As for the rest of the frats, the only ones that are actually really hard to get a bid from are mostly the top tier frats. Sig Ep really only takes good looking dudes, but are lately known to be looking for a high gpa as well. Kappa Sig is just as selective overall but for different reasons than Sig Ep. Delta Sig is getting harder to join as time moves on. DKE is known to be one of the hardest to get a bid for. Don't listen to those screaming Lambda, they're just self ranking lol (I'm sure this will get downvoted a ton because of me saying this, but it's just by all Lambda kids telling each other to downvote it). Dont get me wrong they're a great frat and plenty of top sororities love them, but them being "By far" the most selective is just crap. My friend got in pretty easily and he's just smart lol not a frat star by any means.

not sure what you're talking about Pike is extremely harsh on bids now. Delta chi and Sig pi are jokes. Sig ep hasnt taken a good looking pledge class in a couple years.

To be fair, that is most fraternities. There's few good-looking guys in Greek Life

@Bro what are my chances of getting a bid from Sig ep if I'm good-looking, involved, and have a good GPA? I will technically be a Junior, but I'm taking an extra semester, so should I just say I'm a sophomore?

@Sophomore no one would know for sure because anything can happen, so not trying to get your hopes up but if you are all those things you say you are, your chances should be pretty good. It's more about if you fit in with them though than it is if you deserve to be with them. If you find that during rush and stuff you click and like all the guys and they like you, and you're good looking and have a high gpa and are involved like you said you are, then I'm sure they'd take ya or atleast give you an interview. Just keep at it man

@RPR I've heard they've got a pretty strong brotherhood and party hard, which are the main two things I'm looking for in a fraternity (others being grades and c. service).

@RPR Also because by the time I rush I will be a junior (even though it'll take me an extra year to graduate) and I doubt any of the top houses will give a bid to a Junior.

Not as superficial as Lambda where you fit a "profile" and as long as you "look good on paper" and bs your interview they take you. No regard to brotherhood just a look good bid. Kap Sig known to early/dirty rush Sig Ep fairly similar to Fiji

Lambda Chi by virtue of their universal #1 ranking is #1 on 99.999% of every rushees bid list. Lambda Chi does not give bids to over 90% of rushees so they definitely the most selective fraternity and the hardest to get a bid from. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
