Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority Ratings at ASU

okay so i’m currently in sk and i like it. i was considering dropping just because i have a busy schedule, but i decided against it. i’ve talked to a couple girls in my class and we all agree that the sorority is low in a lot of categories. since we are freshmen, we have a few years to get the sorority at least a little bit back to it’s former glory lol. we talked a lot about attending more events and being more involved. we’re planning to get on exec to make changes. in my own experience, i’ve never felt bullied or looked down upon. i’ve never witnessed any type of bullying or racism. maybe it’s just because i don’t live in the house so i don’t see things happening. but if i saw something happening, i would say something and drop. hopefully we will make some changes before new members start joining. sk is not as bad as people say it is. ig some people or former members just had bad experiences or something. i’m not at all saying that we are amazing but we aren’t bad people.

Used to be a decent sorority a few years ago but have declined with their pc’s lol they went from being nice girls with less drop rates but have since lost so many members. They also associate with frats no one gives af about like AKL or Acacia or whatever. They are also known for showing how rude and cringe they are during recruitment. Also they have some racism issues but were bullying dg for awhile and they talk down on everyone in greek life…I can write a whole essay about how toxic and weird they are so don’t even bother with them this year pc 23

nah this is the last resort sorority just like adpi. there’s a bunch of girls in it that couldn’t find a decent house so they were put into sigma kappa. they’re also so bad at frat relations and hate on other sororities because they know they are lame. If you want to join an actual sorority here at asu this is not the place

I have to laugh….they just recently bought followers on Instagram to go from 6k to 10k overnight….that just screams how insecure they are. this is so sad to see but it’s funny at the same time LMAO

long story short, I am currently a sigma kappa member and have seen the drama. I’ve also seen girls on exec get on greek rank to read what is said about them and then remove any reviews that may “damage” the chapters reputation. Most of sigma kappa is dominated by the kite family and if you aren’t associated or close friends with them then say goodbye to being treated with respect. Members are always dropping at every chapter meeting and I’ve been in this sorority for like a year now lol. I’m thinking of dropping soon but the positive reviews are all sigma kappa members and that shows how insecure they are and are desperate for new members. So listen to the negative reviews of people who have had terrible experiences within the actual sorority because it’s just a bunch of bullies and tearing each other down

One of my bffs was a SK so I started hanging outs with her and her other friends : sisters and found genuine friendship. These girls have a lot of fun and welcome and support others. It was so refreshing after the pettiness and cliquiness I had experienced in my house. Love my SK friends!!

SK is a GREAT sorority. Not only is everyone extremely nice and caring but people outside SK seem to have the same opinion. SK has the most genuinely sweet girls who care so much about each other. Always fun philo and sisterhood events! All of the reviews on here shocked me and honestly I can say with certainty to not listen to them and check SK out for yourself!

dear pc spring/fall 23…these girls and adpi are BOTTOM bottom. funny part is they preach kindness but have a high drop rate. there is at least a member dropping at every chapter. all they have going for them is having a high gpa but they are the epitome of still stuck in high school bullying members left and right. every normal person ends up dropping so don’t even bother choosing them.

sk has a history of bullying members and the pan community then proceeding to call themselves the “genuine” sorority at asu. Sure they aren’t the typical copy paste blonde girl chapter but they are STILL just as disrespectful towards members. Basically, if you aren’t besties with anyone on exec you will be talked down on, left out of events, and girls will gaslit you if you express your feelings. This sorority also has a high drop rate for a reason. These girls have also talked badly about pi phi during fall recruitment of this year not to mention copying axo’s comin in hot and sk from u of a’s bid day themes. If you plan on rushing in 2023 (fall or spring) do not fall for their “we’re not like the other sororities” bs because chances are there is bullying happening behind the scenes. pick literally any other chapter just not sk.
