recruitment

I'm a freshman and don't know anyone in a sorority or anyone going through recruitment. Is this the type of thing where you have to know most of the members to get invited to join? Do the sororities already have a list of members they want in their group? Is it better toa wait a year before going through this process and maybe meet some people in each house? I'm feeling a little lost.

Not at all! I knew absolutely no one in a sorority coming in and I am now in the house of my dreams. Definitely made my freshman year soooo much better compared to the lonley nights and relying on fairweathered high school friends. But dont forget recruitment closes tomorrow!

It's better than you don't know anyone is a sorority so you don't feel pressured to joining that particular one. Go though recruitment with what you are looking for in a sorority in mind and keep an open mind. Good luck!
