time involved

by: New coog

I really want to focus on my coursework and am concerned about the time commitment as a sorority pledge. How much time is involved and what are mandatory activities? When does initiation take place, does it conflict with testing schedules?

sororities all have academic requirements. They have study hours and school always comes first. They all have meetings on Monday nights and a few other mandatory activities depending on the sorority. I do believe that every sorority would help you with coursework you would have sisters to study with and probably have them in your classes as well! Initiations are normally around November. Activities shouldn't get in the way of testings and if they do there's always someone you can talk to so you can go take your test. School comes first, after all that's why we are all here!!
