Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at University of Houston - UH 2.2 I met a few of these guys at the orientation this summer, had a decent time hanging out, but didn't really get into how they relied on beer pong as a fun event when trying to get me to join. I know nationally they are a good frat, but at UH.....eeeh. Im not really seeing it. They did point out that Bud Adams, the really old guy that took the Houston Oilers to Tennessee back in the 90's was a Sigma Chi. Now that is a creepy dude.

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at University of Houston - UH 4.0 I really haven't seen any substance on here on either side of the coin, so I'll add some. THE GOOD: 1) Sigma Chi throws the best philanthropy events bar none. Fight Night and Derby Days are the biggest (most participation, money raised, fun) philantrhopic events on campus... every other fraternity outside Pi Kapp does something lame like volleyball or softball. 2) The backing Sigma Chi has nationally makes them stand out. 3) The parties, if at the house, are the biggest. Freaker's Ball and Knee Deep are the largest parties on campus. THE BAD: 1) Haven't done Homecoming. 2) Could be more involved on campus and with IFC. OVERALL: With respect to Pike and Pi Kapp, Sigma Chi is the best on campus IMO but it's all a matter of what you're looking for in a fraternity.

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at University of Houston - UH 4.8 ΣΧ is a great fraternity in many aspects. As it has been noted before, they are NEVER ones to START fights.. Overall they have an attractive group of men in their chapter. They are consistent in presenting themselves well in dress and manner. They are true southern gentlemen. Sigma Chi is a popular fraternity and for good reason. They are passionate about their philanthropy. Sigma Chi hosts the best philanthropy events (Fight Night and Derby Days). They are also well involved on campus in hosting events as well as participating in events hosted by the university. Though not all of the brothers present themselves with the highest level of class, the majority of the brothers do. They hold one another accountable for their actions as well as encourage an amiable character. As it has been mentioned before, another reason behind their increasing popularity are their incredible parties. The men of Sigma Chi certainly know how throw a party with quality music, atmosphere, themes, and more.

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at University of Houston - UH 4.0 Most of their guys are attractive guys with funny personalities. I'm pretty sure they're dating girls from every sorority or at least fcuking. They're one of the more popular fraternities due to their large presence and huge parties. They seem like a tight-knit close of guys with a lot of pride over their ritual. They even got into a fist fight over it. Derby Days and Fight Night have been the best philanthropies by far that I have gone to. Cons - Their house isn't done but they party hard there still due to it being a private lot, have gotten in several fights.

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at University of Houston - UH 1.8 These guys only seem to care about partying. They had a decent philantrophy event, but other than that aren't really involved. They are known to start fights and have been called to standards multiple times. They don't even live in their house, and seem to have left in a worse shape than when Sig Nu lived there. I would say if you want to party, hang out but be careful of fights or rude behaviour, but if you want something more than that, go to another fraternity

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at University of Houston - UH 2.8 The guys collectively are decent. They have at most like 5 good looking guys, they are multicultural as well. Their older guys and reputation are what has helped keep them on top, but each semester their pledge classes get worse and worse. Very little campus involvement. The only thing memorable about these guys is the amount of parties they throw.
