It sounded like some alumni messed with a pledge and took it too far. It's kind of pathetic and shows you what Delta Chi graduates are like. They have nothing better and it shows you their self esteem. As far as I know, Delta Chi was already skating on thin ice. The year before, a girl fell off their roof and almost died. They did not have a good history/relationship with their nationals or JMU. As far as Pi Beta Chi, they probably won't last more than a couple years. Nobody wants to join an underground club that is not officially recognized by the school. It's just kind of sketchy. My guess is that they will become irrelevent in the next couple of years. The same thing is happening to Kappa Sig. Their "pledge classes" will just get weirder and weirder because they need to keep their numbers up. As for their iconic house, no worries-someone else will take their place when they don't have enough people to fill it. It was good while it lasted, but no one will care or know about Delta Chi in a few years. They are mostly lowlifes anyway-Gavin, Dylan, not to mention one of the biggest tools I have ever met Mike. personally I think they are some of the most fun guys to hang out with and they have great bands at a lot of their parties. They aren't irrelevant and they could come back on campus but they chose not to because they are doing just fine of their own
