What’s the deal with gamma?

No, they are not bad. In fact I know a lot of girls who had a great time and met great people in this sorority. Girls are just catty. They may have more "normal" girls and heavier girls, but those girls exist in all of the sororities. Rankings are so stupid. Find your people and have confidence to move past these dumb rankings

They are not bad. In fact, take a look at them, they are breaking out of the stereotype that they have had. Every sorority on campus is good and the ones that have historically been called bottom have all gotten better. Now that rush is over, let’s stop self ranking and be a more inclusive Greek life. We have to be better.

Ok, so they are the bottom sorority but that doesn’t mean they are bad. Ok so they aren’t the top, full of the “most beautiful” girls here at JMU but they deserve respect as a fellow chapter here at JMU. We really need to stop this already. Everyone is quick to defend top chapters and say stop hating on them but what about bottom?? Stop hating on them.

As someone who dropped this sorority a while back, it’s just too expensive and not enough events/mixers. Like it was close to $700 for my first semester and we just mixed with club sports/low frats. Also some of the girls when I got in gamma were very rude and gave a lot of side eye. But everyone has different experiences

I’d rather be in gamma over Aphi or asa any day, those sororities have nothing positive to offer
