what is the deal with bid day

i’m hearing that there won’t be darties this year on bid day bc frats aren’t given out their bids until sunday 4-8? if this is true this is so dumb greek life has ruined the party scene this year with run through the row during sylly week and now bid day? wtf

Yeah I noticed this. Sorority stuff started so early this year and if the frats give out bids on bid day Sunday then there goes all the fun. Man the times have changed

Too many stats have gotten in trouble drinking on bid day so they are shutting it down. Panhellenic also moved rush a few weeks earlier not to interfere w religious holidays

sororities aren’t technically allowed to drink on bid day because it’s still technically part of recruitment. There are very few schools left that actually have sororities that party on bid day
