Frat Odds for the Fall
by: 2023What are the odds/percentages that I get into either DSIG or Pike? How many people rush and how many people get in? I’ve heard it is different for every frat but what is it like for DSIG and Pike?

IFC has to report how many signups each frat has. According to their website, last fall, DSIG had 278 rushes, PIKE had 262 rushes, KA had 208, and Sig Nu had 201. For pledges, Pike had 40 pledges, and DSIG KA and SigNu all had around 30 pledges. I’d say it’s really hard to get a bid in any of those 4 frats. After those 4 it gets much easier to get a bid. Most kids have their top choice (KA PIKE DSIG SNU) and then they have “backups” usually when talking to kids you hear the backs ups are typically (ASIG, Kappa Sig, Theta Chi, and Phi Psi) this is because they want to get into a top frat but rush a “backup” incase they don’t get their priority. If you arent an absolute unsocial loser you will get a bid from kappa sig, phi psi, asig, theta chi, sig ep, etc…If I were you I would rush KA/Pike/DSIG and then one backup that you know you’ll get into.
