How much does gpa matter during recruitment? Could you get into your top ones with a 2.5 bc of one bad semester freshman year?

If they’re on the fence about you , it matters , but if you’re an auto bid it doesn’t matter

I rushed as a freshman so i’m not 100% sure how different the criteria for grades are as a sophomore but my gpa wasn’t amazing when I rushed and I got into a “top” sorority. Just show that you are dedicated to your studies/care and you’ll do fine:)

Can’t rush a sorority with below a 2.5 and most sororities have academic probation if members fall below a certain gpa so they might drop you if you don’t have a gpa above their requirements
