what fraternities have the best houses and future?
by: ssssI think around the spring you can really tell what a fraternity is gonna be like in the fall. What fraternities do you think have the best and worst future?

If you had asked a couple months ago I probably would’ve said Beta because of their downtown block, but their future doesn’t look too good rn with all the hazing stuff. Right now it’s looking like Sig Nu, Theta Chi and KDR are growing the fastest. They’ve all secured pretty good housing for next year and have had the best rushes out of everyone. They’re also staying out of trouble which is important.

it’s between dsig and KA and it’s not close. KA got main (pikes old house) which is one of the best houses in Harrisonburg and also is keeping gingerbread. But dsig got both estate houses from KA and bungalow from ATO which is one of the biggest houses/basements in harrisonburg. Neither lost any houses that i am aware of so it’s easily one of those two. Sig Nu had great hosing but lose their main house colonial and didn’t get any new ones. Pikes housing is in shambles and lost main and white house over the last couple of years , they really only party on devon and in aspen now. Couldn’t tell you about sig ep or theta or any of those because they’re irrelevant at JMU

The question wasn’t who’s going to be top tier next year it was who has the best future. The reason why I picked KDR and Theta Chi was because they’ve both had major cultural transformations in the past two years. KDR especially. Saying that they’re irrelevant at JMU just shows that you’re ignorant about this type of stuff. I included Sig Nu because they somehow managed to wipe out all of their competition this semester. KA has good housing next year but they’ve only gotten worse and worse pledge classes from when I’ve been a freshman. If you asked the average person what they thought about KA they would probably say “oh that’s the douchebag frat” dsig is just done. Even if they don’t get kicked off campus they couldn’t take a spring PC.
