They all look the same
by: ConfusedIs it just me or after looking at each sorority Instagram, with the exception of SK, ASA, and Apha Phi, every sorority has the same girls. They have Normal girls. Like they could each be in 9 different sororities and you wouldn’t be able to tell. There is no difference between the girls in Tri Sig and the girls in Phi Sig and the ADPi and Phi Sig girls look just as pretty and sweet as the Zeta and phi Mu girls. And AST and Theta all look the same. I don’t understand rankings at all. These girls all look the same. I wish everyone would get over rankings

They are also the same sororities who hide their not so cute sisters. They only show the cute ones. That to me is not sisterhood. That’s faking it. If you’re too embarrassed to show a sister, that’s not sisterhood. The other sororities are real. Every single sorority at JMU have hot girls and normal girls. I have seen all letters walk across campus and they could be in any sorority.

100%- after you get out of the top groups where everyone looks the same anyway, every other sorority is just a big mix now. Pretty, plain, skinny, chubby, they are mixed in every group. Maybe they should just enjoy their sisterhood now and stop ranking although the frats play a big part in this too.

I agree their instagrams look better because they only put their prettiest girls on there, but line up every girl and so many are not attractive.Stop acting like they only have pretty girls.This is insanity. There are pretty girls in every sorority.Let’s stop letting the guys say who is pretty. Let’s lift each other up because you don’t see tear downs like this on other schools Greek ranks.Let’s be better than this, JMU, because in the end, we all attend the same school and want people to want to go here. We used to be “the happiest college on earth”. Let’s get that back

Greek life is definitely not happy at JMU. It's not like this at other schools. None of my other friends deal with the constant judging and ranking that happens here. It's a really bad look for JMU. We need every house we have based on all of the cuts that happened this year so why not promote Greek life as a whole instead of trying to destroy some.

yeah I’ve heard of certain frats doing this, it’s really sad since the pledges don’t know any better to question it or go against it

Not a lie about hiding sisters. Who wants to be in a sorority like that, much less pay to be hidden away during rush?
