why is suicide bidding so bad im just confused.

you're not guaranteed a bid in that chapter. if you suicide bid and don't get into it, you don't get into any sorority.

you basically have to be on their A list it reduces your chances and im pretty sure they know you suicide bid

No, only Panhellenic knows that you suicided on your MRABA. The only way anyone else knows that you suicided is if you tell everyone, or you get a call from a recruitment counselor between pref and bid day that you aren't getting a bid. Then it's kind of obvious that you suicided.
