by: Be awareIf you plan on rushing, please keep your eyes wide open. The two most toxic sororities you could possibly join are AST and APHI. If APHI has followed you, just know that they plan on getting fined for breaking so many rules during recruitment and want you to think they’re the best. As for AST, they constantly tear down other sororities, trying to make themselves look better than they actually are... AST also lets you have absolutely no say in who you want for a big sister, it is assigned and completely random, and results in families not being close at all. Neither of these sororities have a strong sisterhood, and are about as fake as they come.

Actually as a member I can say you don’t get to choose, it’s a similar process if you were to do a random roommate in a way- you fill out a basic question thing and they match you with older girls who have similar interests as you. It doesn’t always work out, but for some girls it does.
