It depends on the person. If you are looking for friends and something to put your time into then join a chapter. If you already have friends, don’t really want to get involved with working on anything in a chapter then you might as well not join bc those are the people that end up dropping

tbh I'd rather be in something than nothing at all because you don't have to rely on a guy then to experience things like date functions + you get the greek sing experience + it builds your resume and you get alum connections

Stay with middle if you can’t get into a top. You really don’t want to be associated with the bottom tier frats. Better to be independent instead of held back by their baggage. It’s for life.
