Anyone disappointed this morning? I dropped out of rush. Didn’t get invited back to my favorites. I’m bummed

I didn’t get invited back to any of my tops either. Prob gonna drop and rush next year. I wonder what happened???

If you’re thinking about rushing as a sophomore or junior don’t. You won’t get the chance to experience living in the house and you won’t have the gpa advantage you had this year so you’re probably going to be unhappy again. My sorority only invites like 20 upperclassmen back for pref and usually they’re on the B list.

if ur a pnm do not listen to this i rushed the second time and got into a top tier and i LOVE it. juniors do have a harder time but sophomores ur fine.

sophomores are definitely at a disadvantage and the more competitive chapters become the less sophomores they will take

I wish that I read this comment before I decided to rush. I'm a junior, but this was my first semester at JMU because I transferred from a community college. All, I could find were comments selling false hope instead of telling it like it really is. Total waste of 63 dollars. :/

PLEASE DO NOT DROP RECRUITMENT BECAUSE YOU DIDNT GET CALLED BACK TO YOUR FAVORITE HOUSES!!!! Almost all girls get dropped from their favorite houses and it is totally okay! Recruitment can be very emotional and stressful. Please stick it out to bid day especially if you are a freshman. There are so many girls who get disappointed and then stick it out and they end up LOVING the sorority they got bid into. Please please please just give it a chance and then see if your opinions have changed in a few weeks or months from now

Girls not showing up to bid day! Seriously? If a sorority is willing to give you a chance you should give them one too since the others obviously didn’t like you

I’m really sad to hear this- you should stick with it. Why would you want to be sisters with girls who didn’t want you? Sometimes the best things are what you least expect, and that’s definitely been my sorority experience
