I don't think they are bottom either. I understand they have an incident going on right now that girls are making a big deal about. And if it were their own sorority I am sure they'd want to keep the chatter about it at a minimum, however I feel like Adpi is very similar to AST, GPHI and Phi Sig and from what I can tell all 4 of these sororities are worth being a part of. Lots of those girls interact with girls in other sororities and have a good time

Past recruitment chair here, everyone has good retention rates in the first few rounds because girls still visit quite a few sororities. From philanthropy to sisterhood round is when retention rates really matter because it determines what girls you can invite back to preference. After preference its basically the pnms choice which house they chose unless that sorority has the best retention rate, in which case the pnm can get dropped from their top house and get their second choice.

Actually with RFM you should be matched with a sorority that you've elected to pref. It is a math numbers game, but this is why so many girls get dropped from more than half the sororities after the first round. No sorority is holding on to a bunch of girls until the very end. However, there are a lot of cuts after Philanthropy, so be prepared for shocks and tears going into Sisterhood. My hallmate last year, beautiful girl, got cut from everyone but one after Sisterhood and didn't get a bid from that sorority. Very sad.

Here's the issue for a lot of girls with RFM. You get cut pretty much right away from the top sororities. They don't get a chance to get to know you really and so it's based totally on looks or a connection you had, which we all know is very hard to have that connection on day one. The only good thing it does is helps every PNM find a sorority, especially helping ones that girls wouldn't look at, but are forced to. It gives everyone a second and third chance to impress. I thought I was going to drop out after I was cut from my top choices last year, but then I was wowed at sisterhood and preference by a few sororities I wouldn't have even considered. So, this is when RFM works.
