i only got invited to 6 houses last round but I think that’s because I’m a sophomore pnm. I really really really want asa since it’s the best house I have left but I don’t think I’ll get called back. I also got called back to aphi, ast, gamma phi, phi sig, and adpi. Ngl I cried when I got dropped by ddd and sk and if i get dropped by ast, aphi, and phi sig for being a sophomore, I think I might drop altogether

I honestly think you should go through the whole process even bid day regardless on who invites you back because you have like a grace period where you can drop without any repercussions and who knows you might end up loving whoever you end up getting a bid from even if your favs drop you!!

with that attitude, expect to be dropped from your precious top houses and forced to give the other houses a chance. This process really is better with an open mind so you’re only ruining your chances of finding somewhere that will make you happy

Also prepare to be dropped by the mid and low tiers too. I know for a fact they went on a chopping spree because it’s also what benefits them. They don’t want someone who doesn’t wanna be there.

Hi! Former sophomore rushee, a lot of sororities push the getting freshman thing and it sucks, what hurt me was having a bit so great gpa. Give it a chance, i know they say it all works out in the end and it’s cheesy but it really does. I ended up in my last pick and ended up really loving it. Wishing you good luck! Hang in there!
