pnm question (be honest)

I’m a rising JMU freshman, planning to rush in the fall. I have a question about the rushing process: will the girls in the houses make assumptions about me because of my major? I’m going in as a Computer Science major (though this may change because I’m only a freshman), and I know that a lot of my older friends/relatives who rushed are in majors like nursing/psychology/etc. This probably seems like a stupid question but I know that Computer Science is seen as a ‘nerdy’ major and while I can see myself fitting into a sorority atmosphere completely, im worried that people will make decisions based on ideas about my major and the people in that major.
