joining for clout vs brotherhood

If i rush and i like a "lower tier" fraternity more will other greeks think less of me? I dont care about social status. But reading this site makes me think that people here think that the tier of your frat/sorority define you. Im not rushing to find hot guys, im looking for brothers. Or do i go big or go home? Whats the best way i can have a good time at jmu if i decide to rush?

Rush multiple fraternities when the time comes. Meet brothers and see where you belong. Go to their rush parties and test the waters, good luck as always and don't forget to RUSH DELTA UPSILON! WE'RE ON THE RISE BABY!

i've had wayyyy more fun at frats that are considered to be "lower" than i have ever had at pike, ka, etc. it really doesnt matter
