Interesting how organizations on campus that tend to recruit on a superficial basis rarely participate in philanthropy events. I notice that the people who sign up for philanthropy events tend to always be the same 10-15 people. What are the rest of you in it for? To wear letters? lmao

Everyone is obsessed with organizations like Pike, Sig Nu, or Ka that didn't even show up/barely tried for Greek Sing which raises money for a great cause. It's actually refreshing when guys actually try to have fun with it instead of just show up and make something up in 30 minutes so that they don't get fined

this statement can easily be made for most frats but I wouldn't generalize to greek life as a whole since there's always some sorority fundraising for their philanthropies almost every day

it's usually just proceeds nights and i rarely see sororities do community service first hand or work with their philanthropy and I couldn't be able to tell u who the majority of sororities are even fundraising for except for tri delt and zeta

only reason everyone knows about tri delt and zeta philanthropy is because how big st. jude and breast cancer awareness is. other sororities do philanthropy, may not be as big/well known but theyre all still raising $ regardless
