Houses will drop for grades, reputation, and some upperclassmen. If it’s not those, maybe you were just too quiet during recruitment and they didn’t get to know you. You are eligible for COB if a house doesn’t make quota. Ask your rho gam and they can advise. Good luck!

Whether or not you try to join a sorority later, YOU NEED TO JOIN SOMETHING. I’m pretty sure there is over 100 clubs at Jmu and there is plenty of stuff to do and opportunity to make friends and have fun. Don’t make your freshman year lonely just cause you didn’t join a sorority.
