i don't understand

by:

I started off rush with an open mind and genuinely thought I had clicked with Tri Delta and SK. Philanthropy round I didn't get called back to either but could then see myself in Phi Mu Theta or AST. Now going into the next round I haven't gotten called back to any of those. I'm frustrated because I feel like I've been open minded but it hasn't worked out at all. The only one I'm left with that I could maybe see myself at is Phi Sig and I'm still unsure about that. Any advice about the best way to handle all of this and if I should drop, or try again?

keep going! honestly every org is amazing and the only people who care about "tiers" are the people u don't want to be friends with in the first place and GDIs. people tend to see houses in the first rounds that they think they click with but just remember every org is supposed to make you feel like you belong before they cut you for other reasons and their cuts usually mean that they've like evaluated you and just don't think you're a good fit! everything will be worth it on bid day trust me

It’s ok!!! The same thing happened to a few of my friends when they rushed as freshmen. A few of them ended up rushing again sophomore year and it worked out for them. Now being on the other side it’s so clear to see how easy it is for such awesome girls to fall through the cracks. Stay positive and give other clubs a try or rush again next year! Being in a sorority is not everything i promise.
