recruitment

I dropped out of recruitment this year due to the hurricane hitting my family. Will it be held against me if I rush again next year?

So sorry you had to do that...unfortunately most sophomores who go through recruitment (at least the ones I know) only have 3-4 houses by sisterhood round and get dropped by their top houses early on

Me and several girls in my pledge class rushed as sophomores and ended up preffing “top tier” houses. Just rush again next year and if you’re fit to be in a house then you will end up there!

phi sig was literally my #3 and then I got to Phil night and they were my number 1 and I got dropped so I kinda wish I was you

You probably won’t be able to do COB until the spring, but ask Panhellenic to put you on an email/call list for COB! If you don’t vibe with anyone during then or if no houses are doing COB, rush again sophomore year! Any house that truly wants you will overlook the fact that you had to drop out for a family emergency.

I know so many sophomores that rushed sophomore year and many of them got into their top houses so I wouldn’t worry too much about rushing again next year
